Hello HOG Members
To close up January: We had our Ski Freeze ride, which turned out to be just breakfast. We found out there wasn’t going to be any skiing, so we opted out of going to the event. We did raise some money to donate, we ended up providing $310 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Even though it was short, the company was great and getting to see everyone in the new year was well worth the short ride in the cold!
Danny, Jason, Brandon, Cat, Shannon, and Sam attended Southern Thunder New Rider Appreciation luncheon. Thank you to you all for coming and supporting the event and helping out and talking about our HOG chapter.
Our Officers, yes all of them (great turn out) attended R.O.C. Training. We got some good ideas and hope to follow through this year with them. We had our first Chapter meeting of 2024. Great turn out with 18 folks there, we got to discuss a lot of new things, and come up with some new ideas to make the new year a hit and try to get some new members! Officer’s provided a taco dinner that turner out great! Thank you Officer’s!!!
Just this past Saturday to finish out January we had a fun social even at Wood Chuck’s Axe throwing company. Although we all opted out of throwing any axes, darts or playing pool, we had a good time. We all ate some good food, sat around and caught up with everyone that came out to the event, and had a blast watching everyone else through the axes.

We did have bowling on the calendar for 2/3/2024, but we have CANCELLED for now. We will reschedule soon i promise. We didn’t have enough signed up at this time to keep the event

Southern Thunder is holding a Poker Walk and Gumbo cook off and would love for some of us to submit a Gumbo Dish!!!!
Dealership would like us as a chapter to submit a Gumbo, but anyone can submit if you would like to provide one yourself.
They are giving a Trophy and $100 gift card to the winner!
The Dealership would like to have at least 3 volunteers to help out with the poker walk (registration, stations and such). They also requested us to have a HOG Table set up, provide information about our chapter and try to bring in new members!!

The Tour
Entering from the front door you will be standing in Buford’s mother, Mrs. Helen’s living room, and greeted by a tour guide. An eight-minute video biography will be played that you’ll really enjoy. Then you will visit each room of the house and end in the garage downstairs with two of Buford’s cars. The gift shop is right before the garage. Your tour guide will be glad to give you directions or share ideas of other fun things to do while you’re visiting McNairy County. Please enjoy your visit.
