Southern Thunder has been asked to provide at least 2 motorcycles to escort the riders out on the race starting at Shelby Farms.

Foundation is looking for at least 2 volunteers (ST would like females if possible) to ride their motorcycles, to escort the bicycle event out.

They are asking for the volunteers to be at Shelby Farms by 6:20am Saturday 9/6/2025. Enter off of Farm Road from Walnut Grove. Turn into the parking lot by the visitors center there will be a parking attendant there. drive down the pathway to the event to the cycle start line. You will get in the front of the line with engines off until they do the countdown. Further instructions at the event to come. It’s a neutral roll out where police lead out to Sanga, then the motorcycles, then the cyclists. Then return to the park with them, get back in line and the next start is opening ceremony at 7:45 – same process.
